Veteran Spotlight: Tanisha Hall-Anderson
Tanisha Hall-Anderson, a Shared Services Coordinator at Invitation Homes, earned the Army Achievement Medal for her service to the armed forces. She is a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Specialist (CBRN) and Human Intelligence Specialist (HUMINT) in the Army National Guard, fostering leadership skills that she applies to her position at Invitation Homes.
Tanisha is committed to excellence. She honed her professional skills as a specialist in the Army National Guard, and continues to nourish her talents in her career at Invitation Homes. She said, “I’ve been able to expand on a lot of my military experience. Invitation Homes is a platform for growth.”
In her position, Tanisha provides oversight during construction of projects. She works closely with other department supervisors and managers to maintain efficient communication and quality work.
“This job requires someone that is dedicated, someone with a lot of integrity, someone who knows what it means to be a true team player,” Tanisha said. “The [Army National Guard] taught me a lot about that.”
While serving in the Army National Guard, Tanisha developed valuable leadership skills. She uses these leadership skills to provide supervision and direction for cross training to other employees at Invitation Homes. Tanisha’s commitment to excellence transfers to Invitations Homes’ residents, as she works to track HVAC installation and warranty documentation.
“I hold my values dear and practice these values every single day in and out of the office,” Tanisha said. “I think a veteran would definitely benefit from being employed at Invitation Homes.”
