Invitation Homes Partners with Operation Backpack
This program provides school supplies to those in need. Invitation Homes donates backpacks and school supplies for back-to-school season. Every backpack includes pocket folders, pencils, pens, markers, glue sticks, pencil sharpener, notebook, and a pair of scissors. With these supplies, children are prepared for the first day of school. In addition to Operation Backpack, all 17 offices volunteer in their local communities throughout the year.
Invitation Homes My Front Door Contest
My Front Door Contest launched in August 2018. Front doors are more than an entrance and exit to a resident’s house. It represents the place they call home. It’s where they say hello and goodbye to family and friends. It’s where you make memories, share laughs, or shed tears. My Front Door Contest asked Invitation Homes residents to send a photo taken in front of their front door, front yard, or porch and tell us why they love leasing from Invitation Homes. Over 15 prizes were awarded with a grand prize of $500 and a chance to be featured in our upcoming ads. Winners announced October 1, 2018. >>
“There’s No Place Like Home” Scholarships Contest
“There’s No Place Like Home” Scholarships are available if you are enrolled in college or headed there in 2018 and would like a chance to win a scholarship to help cover expenses. Invitation Homes will award five $1,000 college scholarships to highly motivated students who can thoughtfully respond to the question below in 800 words or less. Invitation Homes Commissions Dallas Artist Daniel I. Yanez
In 2016, Invitation Homes commissioned Dallas artist Daniel I. Yanez (aka Artist DIY) to paint a visual representation of our company’s commitment to the community. The mural depicts and shows the words Neighborhood, Community, Family, and Home. This mural, which measures more than 33 feet wide by more than 12 feet high, is located at our company headquarters in Dallas, Texas. Each of our offices nationwide have a smaller scale reproduction of the mural to remind associates of our commitment to the community.
